    Personal Perspective – Quality
What do you think of the quality of the design and composition? Do you believe the composition was well thought out, reasons? Were the elements of space, line and shape effectively used?
I think this design has a lot of things going on. It’s almost hard for me to focus on one thing. Lots of forms of transportation are in the piece and I think that the car with the words and headlights is really nice. I don’t know if I understand the left and right pictures on the top. I might also take out the signs. I think if you tone down the opacity of the airplanes it might look nice. So they blend in with the over all picture.
I think it was a well though out piece, but I think that you might want to focus on one or two things at a time. Sometimes less is better. I really like the bikes on the road which flow with the background really well along with the text that make the car. I can clearly see that it took some planning.
The elements of space, line and shape are used effectively in the piece by showing only the outline of the airplanes, the boxes on each corner and the background. Additionally, shape is used in the text that make up the car.

Question 4 – Personal Perspective – Concept: Grady
How effectively was the concept of “transportation” explored? Do
you think that this student successfully communicated transportation as
the main idea of the composition; if not what do you think the main
    concept is?

I definitely think Transportation was explored. All the images used in this composition have something to do with either travel or transportation. The main concept would definitely be as the composition says, Trains, planes and automobiles, though there are other types of transportation used as well.

    Question 3 – Shape

How is shape used in the composition? 2-d, 3-d, grouping of shapes, etc. How were elements of shape used to optimum effect in composition? If shape was not effective give reasons.

-There’s alot of Shapes going on here with the road signs. I also like the use of text to make a shape of the car. I like the beveled icon on the middle but i find it hard to decipher what the picture is. I didnt think that Shapes were used to optimum effect because of the road signals. They are pretty much scattered around and unorganized.
